To protect the users of 2Ring DW from various cross site scripting attacks, 2Ring DW sets the maximum protection level on its authentication process (among other protections). This behavior is in line with industry standards and recommendations. This protection is working well in all situations when users access 2Ring DW directly using a modern desktop or mobile browser or on a TV. However, it prevents users accessing some content served by 2Ring DW (images, fonts, sounds, PDFs) when embedded in Korbyt.

There are two possible solutions:

• Do not use static content hosted by 2Ring DW (images, fonts, sounds, PDFs) and refer to publicly available alternatives instead
  

  • Customer logo from customer public site
    

  • Standard windows fonts
    

  • etc.

• Contact 2Ring support for slightly lesser protection settings that would allow access to content served by 2Ring DW.

Appspace & BrightSign

BrightSign typically offers support for Appspace, which is a centralized Content Management System, for content that includes embedding web pages.

Within Appspace, the best option to embed DW Layouts is through the Web View Card, possibly using the Native Webview (default) Embed option and DW layout Short URL in the URL field. It is also recommended to first perform the referrer validation steps described at DW Layout Embedding chapter.
