DW Layout Embedding

For security reasons, cloud-based DW does not allow wallboards to be embedded by default. To enable embedding, you must provide a list of all URLs that will be used to load the DW layouts. For more information about embedding layouts in specific platforms (i.e., Contact Center desktops), please check the appropriate connector documentation.

How to Identify Required URLs

If you’re unsure how to obtain the necessary URLs (referrers), please follow these steps:

1. Open the following test page on each device and location where you plan to display the DW layouts: https://cloud.2ring.com/StaticFiles/iframeTest/AncestorsV2.html

   This test page does not work in Firefox.

2. Capture the entire output of the page (a screenshot or photo is sufficient).

3. Repeat this process for all device types and locations, as the referrer may differ depending on how the layout is displayed (e.g., via a configuration page vs. directly on a device).

Submitting the Referrer List

Once you have collected all relevant URLs, submit a request to update the referrer whitelist for your DW tenant at https://www.2ring.com/support/contact-support/.
