Changes Indicators

In addition to the entity itself, all parent containers show asterisk to help locate changed entity. This includes the corresponding list item in the previous panel, the collapsible group containing the list and the panel header. Asterisks propagates all the way up to the root panel.

• * — indicates that a change was made directly to the associated entity.

• ** — indicates that a change was made to a nested or child entity.

The purpose of the asterisk indicators is not to point to the specific property or panel where the change was made, but to the panel where the changes can be saved. In some cases, an entity is split across multiple panels, but only one of them contains the save button — even if the change was made on a different panel.
