Business Units

A Business Unit (BU) is the main security boundary of the system. A Business Unit holds all lower-level entities such as users, administrators, enumerations, themes and more. A user can see or use everything that belongs to their Business Unit or to the Shared Business Unit.

After clicking the trash icon, a confirmation dialog appears. This dialog lists all entities that will be deleted along with the BU. For security purposes, the user is required to enter the exact name of the BU to confirm the deletion. If user wants to delete multiple Business Units, word “DELETE”, all in uppercase, is required as a confirmation. The “Delete” button will only become enabled once the correct BU name, or word “DELETE” is entered.

Deleting a Business Unit is an irreversible action. Ensure that you have reviewed all associated entities before proceeding.
