Local Notification Permissions

After logging in to the DW Application, the browser will ask for permission to send Windows notifications.

Once permission is granted or blocked, the browser will not ask for it again. If users want to change this permission, they must do so through browser settings.

Below are the steps to revoke notification permissions in the most common browsers:

Google Chrome

  1. Click the three vertical dots in the upper-right corner of Chrome.

  2. Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the left-hand menu, click on “Privacy and security”.

  4. Select “Site Settings”.

  5. Scroll down and click on “Notifications”.

  6. Find the application in the list of sites.

  7. Click the three vertical dots next to the application and select an action.

Mozilla Firefox

  1. Click the three horizontal lines in the upper-right corner of Firefox.

  2. Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the left-hand menu, select “Privacy & Security”.

  4. Scroll down to the “Permissions” section.

  5. Click the “Settings…” button next to “Notifications”.

  6. Find the application in the list of websites.

  7. Select the application and click “Remove Website”.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Click the three horizontal dots in the upper-right corner of Edge.

  2. Select “Settings” from the dropdown menu.

  3. In the left-hand menu, click on “Cookies and site permissions”.

  4. Scroll down and select “Notifications”.

  5. Find the application in the list of websites.

  6. Click the three horizontal dots next to the application and select “Remove” or “Block”.

Safari (macOS)

  1. Click “Safari” in the top menu bar and select “Preferences”.

  2. Go to the “Websites” tab.

  3. In the left-hand menu, select “Notifications”.

  4. Find the application in the list of websites.

  5. Select the application and click “Deny”.
