Introduction

2Ring Dashboards & Wallboards (DW) is a high-performance, cloud-native solution that delivers real-time visualization of operational data. Designed for contact centers, network operation centers, and other mission-critical environments, DW helps teams maintain awareness and deliver high-quality customer service by visualizing:

  • Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Data tables

  • Charts and images

  • Other business-critical data elements

DW can distribute this information across hundreds or thousands of clients without overloading your core systems.

How It Works

DW operates using two main components:

  • Source System in the Cloud

  • 2Ring DW Cloud Instance (DW Tenant)

Source Systems

DW integrates with various source systems such as:

  • Contact centers

  • Helpdesk platforms

  • IT operations systems

  • Line-of-business cloud applications

Data is collected using 2Ring Connectors, which integrate with various cloud providers and platforms, including:

  • Cisco Webex Contact Center

  • NICE CXone

  • Five9

  • Genesys Cloud

  • Salesforce

  • ServiceNow

To minimize impact on the source systems, DW connects as a single lightweight client, processes the data independently, and distributes the results.

DW Tenant: The Cloud Backend

Each customer receives a dedicated DW Tenant hosted in the 2Ring Cloud, which provides:

  • Management of connectors

  • Processing and storage of incoming data

  • Enforcement of access controls and permissions

  • Scalable data distribution to clients

Tenants are fully isolated from each other—both logically and at the network level—ensuring strong data security and compliance.

System Components

Connector

  • Interfaces with a single source system

  • Gathers and processes raw data

  • Pushes the processed data to the DW Tenant

  • Hosted within the DW Cloud Instance

  • Multiple connectors can operate in a single tenant

2Ring offers a library of ready-made connectors, with new options added regularly.

Client

  • Web-based interface that displays live data

  • Compatible with modern browsers

  • Can run on desktops, mobile devices, smart TVs, or set-top boxes

  • Supports hundreds of simultaneous connections

Global Hosting & Data Residency

2Ring DW Tenants are hosted in Microsoft Azure, with deployments in:

  • 🇺🇸 United States

  • 🇨🇦 Canada

  • 🇬🇧 United Kingdom

  • 🇪🇺 European Union

  • 🇦🇺 Australia

Once a region is selected during setup, it cannot be changed. All data, user info, and backups remain within the selected region unless:

  • Delivered to client applications

  • Accessed by 2Ring or its affiliates for support and troubleshooting

Access to clients can be restricted using geo-fencing, IP whitelisting, and other security measures.

Customers are responsible for confirming the hosting region of their source systems and enforcing policies to prevent cross-region transfers if required.

Performance & Data Handling

  • Refresh rate: Typically between 1–10 seconds, depending on the data source, volume, and network latency
