Microsoft Teams - Personal

2Ring Dashboards & Wallboards supports sending personal notifications directly to Microsoft Teams users via the “2Ring DW Notifications” Teams application.

This feature allows users to receive targeted messages, alerts, and real-time updates directly in their Teams environment.

Channel Configuration

  1. Launch the Microsoft Teams desktop or web application and log in with your organizational account.

  2. Click on the Apps icon in the left-hand navigation menu.

  3. In the Search bar, type: 2Ring DW Notifications

  4. Select 2Ring DW Notifications from the search results.

  5. Click Add to install the app to your personal Teams workspace.

  6. After installing the app, a bot named 2Ring DW Notifications will automatically initiate a private chat with the user. This chat serves as the dedicated channel where the user will receive all personal notifications.

To be able to receive notifications, the user must be included in the Microsoft Entra IDP Provider. No additional configuration is required beyond this inclusion. DW Configuration

In DW, Microsoft Entra IDP Provider must be defined to ensure proper notification delivery. It is the name of the provider as shown in Import Users dialog. User’s email address is used as a recipient.
